Designed to be used by professional scuba divers and snorkelers who want to try their hand at cave diving or technical diving by helping to transport the equipment and to reduce travel and decompression times , this water scooter is also suitable for amateurs and diving enthusiasts. snorkeling, thanks to its hydrodynamic design, extremely low weight, and the powerful 500w three-speed electric motor , which allows you to move in the water at a maximum speed of 7km/h and up to 40 meters in depth. The front dome is in glossy ABS , while the battery compartment is made of a polymer alloy formed by super waterproof PC+PBT .

One of the added values ​​of this underwater propulsion vehicle (DPV) and of the entire Professional Dive Series line (with the exception of the 275L model), is certainly the Li-Ion battery (also compatible with the 350Li and 220Li models to improve performance) which it guarantees an autonomy of use up to 90 minutes and recharges in just 7 hours . No memory effect and slow loss of charge when not in use.

The exclusive Multi-Hull design allows water to enter and exit freely through the drainage holes, filling the water chambers located on the top and sides of the 500Li , causing the SeaScooter to assume a neutral buoyancy as soon as it is immersed in water. The water will be expelled as soon as it is brought to the surface. Neutral buoyancy allows the DPV to generally remain stationary where you leave it and is easily modified at will. For a slightly negative attitude, the weights included in the package can be installed in the appropriate housings, while for a more positive attitude, the appropriate floating elements can be used, always included in this top-of-the-range model. It is therefore possible to make the Yamaha 500Li Underwater Scooter perfectly manoeuvrable at any depth, according to the preferences of each user.

It should be emphasized that these underwater scooters are intended for use in salt water and could have different behaviors in fresh water and show different buoyancy and buoyancy values, usually tending to sink slightly .

The Seascooter 500Li It can accommodate various accessories, from video cameras, thanks to the included GoPro® mount that can be installed on the handlebar, to bags, weights and more. The battery level is also indicated on the handlebar with a convenient, clearly visible LED indicator, to always have the remaining autonomy under control.

On the sides of the handlebar there are the propeller activation buttons, which can be operated with the thumbs, allowing an always secure grip on the Yamaha 500Li Aqua Scooter and consequently perfect, simple and effective maneuverability. When even one of the two activation buttons is released, the DPV is automatically deactivated. The seascooter is switched on and off via a main switch.

The risks of damaging the 500Li during use are reduced to a minimum thanks to the safety measures adopted by Yamaha for this SeaScooter : watertightness is guaranteed up to a depth of 40m confirmed by stress tests conducted at 5 atmospheres, the propeller is enclosed in a protective shell that protects the user from possible contacts.

Two sensors , one in the battery compartment and one in the engine area, activate an audible signal to warn the user of critical situations such as water infiltration, engine overabsorption or overheating of the electronic components.
